Funds and Programs that you can support...
Our funds are listed below, in alphabetical order. Contributing through the OSU GiveTo website will allow you to make a one-time or recurring contribution to the Disability Studies Program fund through a secure, online connection. If you wish to donate by check or would like to discuss setting up other development, scholarship, or programmatic opportunities for the Disability Studies program, please contact our Senior Director of Development, Liz Burns at 614-292-2197 or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Disability Studies Program welcomes donations to build important academic programs, including the following: scholarships and internships for Disability Studies minors; fellowships or travel funding for graduate students working on research projects in Disability Studies; workshops and lectures on Disability Studies topics; an endowed chair in Disability Studies; and other possibilities to be named by donors. Because the program is interdisciplinary and not affiliated with any specific department, we do not have an operating budget from the university. Thus, we also welcome funds that support our general operations, such as administration and public relations. Our program is especially focused on community-building and mentoring among undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty, and we welcome donations aimed at these goals.
